It has been a long time since I have scrapbooked a page for the 123 Challenge Blog but this months challenge really inspired me. The challenge was Colour: Hot Pink; Word: LOL; & Technique: Grid. I had this layout stuck in my head since I saw the challenge at the start of the month but have only, just last night, had the chance to sit down and get it out of my head and on to paper. I'm really happy with the results. I have used plenty of Hot Pink, there is grid on my background in gesso as well as a grid formed with the die cut squares and the word LOL is on one of the Itty-Bitty Word Stickers.

Show Us Your Stuff - April Challenge
Show Us Your Stuff has put together a very Easter inspired mood board for their challenge this month. I LOVE mood boards and this palette was very pretty. I decided to scrapbook an older photo of my eldest two children (which just happened to be taken on Easter). I have used a Charms Creation Arrow for my home made embellishment.
Here is my layout...

Project Life Week 9 - Life Zesters March Challenge
Life Zesters had another great challenge this month. I really loved this colour pallet and had a lot of fun with it.

Project Life Week 6
I am managing to keep on track with my Project Life this year. I'm making YouTube videos of the process which has helped me to stay on track. Check out Oh Shiny Scrapbooking.
I made this spread with the February challenge from Life Zesters in mind. The challenge was to use Wood in any way. It could be wood veneer, patterned paper, wood grain stamp, etc. I used all three types in my spread and I also used two embellishments from Charms Creations. I didn't have many photo's this week so I had to use a bit of creativity to fill the spaces. I made a couple of lists of things I liked as well as a 'currently' card and I made my own filler cards in 6x4 size. It was a lot of fun to do even though it was a bit challenging.

White with 1 - January
It has been over a year since I have scrapbooked a 12x12 layout. I have been concentrating mostly on weekly Project Life spreads and filming the process for my YouTube channel and blog, Oh Shiny Scrapbooking. It was so nice to sit down today (yep the last day of the month) and try and do a couple of challenges. Well I did it and I managed to scrap three 12x12 layouts. I'm so happy with how they turned out too.
The following layout is made for the White with 1 Blog challenge for January. It is of my daughter Amelia and done for no other reason as I loved the photo. Thanks for taking the time to look.
Cheers
