Handsome Man - Scrap the Boys

Scrap the Boys August Challenge was to create a monochromatic layout and use twine and chipboard. I used modling paste on the background and coloured it using Pan Pastels. I used Basic Grey chipboard stars, covered with paper and added a Charms Creation lollypop for added interest to the page.

Art Journal and a Canvas

I have been dabbling in Art Journal's for a little while now and recently I made my own Journal from water colour paper. I thought I would share with you some of my favorite pages from my journal. I have many more pages all semi complete that I will share once I am happy with the result. Tonight I'm attending my first Art Journal Class at my LSS. I'm so excited!! I can't wait to share with you what I create.

This is a canvas that I made for Georgia's room. I have made one for Alex as well but I still need to photograph it. So watch this space.

Here is a close up of my flower cluster. I used Charms Creations - Fabulous Flowers and some layered circle flowers that I made to form the cluster.
Here is another closeup. I also used Charms Creations - Mini Doilies in my circle flowers.

Tropical Winter - Layout for Show us Your Stuff challenge blog

Wow it has been ages since I have done a layout as part of a challenge on a blog that has required me to blog the pics and link it.
I was taken by this months challenge at Show us Your Stuff. I planned the layout in my head and and just felt that it was a challenge I really wanted to do. I created the layout using papers from Amy Tangerine and Simple Stories, thickers, twine, Kaszazz pearls and Charms Creations heavenly heart.
I'm not one to do much journaling but with this challenge I felt that I had a story to tell.
